Again, as a follow-up of the Panchayat studies, The Development Board for the Rest of Maharashtra assigned a task of preparing a Training Manual for the Elected Women Representatives of the Panchayati Raj Institutions in Maharashtra in 1999. For this assignment of training manuals for the elected women representatives of the 3-tier Panchayat Raj System of the State were prepared. Three separate manuals were prepared in Marathi for each of the three-tiers viz. Zilla Parishad, Panchayat Samiti and Gram Panchayat.
